Junior Section Metamorphic Workshop, February 2017
“Mashed, Mangled, Morphing, Metamorphic Rocks”
Juniors made s’mores (yum) plus they created and molded clay models to show how heat and pressure change all three types of rocks. Everyone received a garnet schist rock specimen to add to their collection. They even made a special “valentine” surprise to keep or give away!
