As has become tradition at GMS, the January general meeting was an auction meeting. It was a lively auction that began with a juniors’ only portion, but since there were no juniors present, members were invited to bid as “proxy” juniors, provided they sound like juniors. After a cacophony of curious squeaks and grunts, the junior auction was concluded and proxy juniors delighted in their victorious bargains. The auction continued with some incredible items that I forgot to photograph. Fortunately, Mary R. snapped at least one photo. The rest you will have to imagine.
