2015 Atlanta Pizza Wars
GMS at Atlanta Pizza Wars

GMS was invited to participate in the 1st annual Atlanta Pizza Wars! This event was sponsored by Pet Pages Atlanta to help dog rescue organizations as well as the Mustang and Wild Horse Rescue of Georgia.
Pizzerias from the Atlanta metro area competed for accolades by giving out free samples of their pizzas. Celebrity judges picked their favorites and fans picked theirs too. Many dogs were adopted and found their forever homes that day!
GMS provided rock games and grab bags and t-shirts and coloring books in the children's activity area. We met lots of nice people (and dogs). Kids had fun playing "Rock/Not Rock" and everyone went home with rocks and fossils.
Charles, Gilligan, and I had a great time representing GMS. One of Charles' favorite pizzerias won a prize and Gilligan snuck a few bites of some pizza crust too, though his vote didn't count.
