2015 Daffy's Day

GMS was invited to participate in the 8th Annual Daffy's Day Celebration. This event helps raise money for Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen, an organization that provides assistance to people when they fall on hard times so they can keep their pets.

Mary Gurney brought her adorable yorkies Ellie and Annie in their butterfly costumes, Charles and I brought our superboy bichon poodle Gilligan, and Bill Waggener brought Tom and Linda Batcha's tent plus a lot of cool rocks.

As requested by the Daffy's Day organizers, we helped entertained children (and adults) with rock games and activities plus we had grab bags, t-shirts, and coloring books available.

Everyone who stopped by to see us got a pretty little rock, a sticker, and a few lucky people even won a fossil!

We had a lot of fun seeing cute dogs in cute costumes as well as meeting so many nice people. We were happy to help Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen raise money for their efforts.
