The pandemic reared its hideous head high enough that Charles decided to cancel the January field trip. But, at the last minute, the Knoxville Gem and Mineral Society (KGMS) stepped in to do the trip and invited the people who had already signed up for the GMS trip! Daniel Miller, KGMS field trip chair and also a GMS member, led the trip. The water level was a bit higher than we would have liked, so the collecting area was smaller than in prior years, but Daniel reported that everyone had a great time. He saw several nice brooksellas plus at least one really nice trilobite. Many thanks to Daniel for stepping in to conduct this trip and for this report.
