green/purple
fluorite specimens/cutting material. |

Several in our group
found some big boulders of green massive fluorite at the bottom of
these
huge tailing piles. Sledges were used to bust the boulders
into smaller,
more manageable pieces. Everyone who was able, carried up the
fluorite
pieces to the top of the hill were we gave everyone who participated a
share in the booty. |

Up the draw we
found this very large bolder
of pure brown jasper. Too heavy for anyone to carry out to
the trucks.
We also collected a lot of banded purple/green fluorite out of seams in
the walls along this draw at the McCauley Ranch. |
