***** 5 STAR SHOW
     [2004]

View of the Veterans Community Center where the Best Bead Show takes place.
Notice the weather in the background...snowing on the mountains!

If you attempt to visit this show on it's opening day, be prepared to do some creative parking.  I usually wait till after lunch.  This show is unsurpassed for the type and variety of creative lampwork artist. [2007] I was impressed with Jared De Long from Trinidad California.  Unfortunately, he does not have an Internet site so you can view his work.
     [2003]
There are about a dozen outside vendors at this show selling both retail and wholesale.  A lot of art glass jewelry such as paper weights, push-on art glass bracelets and rings, art glass beads of all kinds, etc.
[2005]

Inside the main building you can see the handmade beads strung together on short display rods.
     [2004]
Here is a whole table full of Dichroic glass pieces.  Prices ranged from around $1.00 to $1.25 per gram for the dichroic glass and sometimes a lot higher for the art glass beads.  I really believe that the most talented bead artist sell at this show!
